What a summer!
It started with baking for my friend Lana’s friends and family night, to celebrate the opening for her long awaited dream of B&M, Hoste. If you live in Seattle, and haven’t been, your weekend plans have now been made! If you don’t, you can shop all the goodies on the website!
For the month of July, I had the pleasure of recipe developing and content creating for the brand Paro. Recipes are up on their website!
Had one (of many) dream come true— hosting a Mallorican Vermut tasting with my favorite vermut! Since then have only been befriending so many sweet makers, business owners, and folks from Mallorca. A peak highlight of the summer!!
Got to do a first ever work trip, though more staycation, thanks to the Getaway House! Truly one of the most magical getaways and one of my favorite friend memories of the summer thanks to having the chance to bring along some dear pals. Was a weekend of “work” that meant just cooking, exploring, resting, and just being with friends. Truly ideal.
Of course, we’ve discussed this, it was my bean girl summer! Such a fun menu and fun night teaming up with Primary Beans.
Was truly an honor to help launch my dear friends, Alex and Ben’s, first ever ‘Gatherings’ in their stunning photo space, for their rebrand to Humanos Studios! The vibes were it, the food fun, and just the most perfect light.
Partnered with the iconic Luxardo to bring my dream of an aperitivo hour. Most proud of this work, of the summer!
BEAN. GIRL. SUMMER. Celebrated summer with a banger of a BBQ thanks to Heyday Canning and Ami Ami Vin. So much fun and the most summery and nostalgic thing I did all summer.
Ended the summer while also getting a taste of fall, co-hosting a dinner with Windward Adventures on my dream dinner location, Vashon Island. I’d been wanting to do a dinner on Vashon since supper club began. I knew I had to find a way to get back on the island, and so it truly was a dream come true. I need another!
Unpictured— led an Amaro 101 class for my first ever corporate team event. And collaborated with chef Sarah Monson on the most stunning backyard summer soirée, my back deck has ever seen! Go visit Sarah at Manolin!

My favorites of the summer:
Favorite Trip: I turned 30 this summer, so I took a trip out to Palm Springs / Joshua Tree and stayed at a beautiful home with all my dream friends. I didn’t have to lift a finger or think of a thing, Z and my friends did it all. Start of a new year/decade feeling so, so loved and full.
Favorite non-food product or thing: I recently discovered Soft Services (non sponsor btw!) and it has been a game changer. The buffing bar does wonders, and I’ve been really enjoying the smoothing solution for areas needing more TLC. Extremely excited and grateful to have this apart of my routine heading into winter because my skin alwaysss acts up in the winter from the dryness!
Favorite bite/restaurant/food spot: I’d been dying to get to Pancita at Pair and I finally got a chance to go last month! I’ve been to a handful of their pop-ups before, and was so excited to see them operating as a full restaurant. The drinks were amazing— I had this unreal cocktail with masa, essentially old fashioned with a mouthfeel of fresh, soft, creamy masa. Everything was amazing as always, but I’m still thinking about this tomato dish with the most perfect salsa and oaxacan cheese. Thankfully, Pancita is now permanently at Pair, so any and all can go now!! Which you should and better…
Favorite food product and/or bev: We have been putting Calabrian chili paste onto anything we can this summer. A must on pizza, a dash in some pasta sauce, eggs and toast, cold noodles, even just a lil dip on a potato chip! My wine of the summer was Martha Stoumen’s Nero D'Avola Rosato 2022. 90% Nero d'Avola, 10% Negroamaro. So juicy, like a perfect fresh strawberry. My most shared wine of the summer, and everytime it was a hit!
Dreams and moodboard for Fall
Supper clubs by candlelight! More farm dinners! More campfire cooking! Warming cocktails! Slowing down! Some brainstorming is underworks about a supper club meets retreat???? Shhh. And I’m (attempting) to make my own cider this year, and a perry from the pears in our garden!
